Winter is the perfect time for a campervan family to learn new skills. Even in the most southern parts of Europe living on the beaches or in the forest […]

Unschool Learning, Fun Fact of The Day: Dogs have nose prints, Like human fingerprints, each dog’s nose is completely unique to each pup. No two dog noses are alike. Their noses have unique bumps, dimples, and ridges that create a distinctive pattern πŸ˜€πŸΆπŸΎβ€οΈπŸ’« . . It's amazing what we learn on our unschool journey whilst helping to link the small people with information they have a passion for! Luna pup is sleepy after running about on the farm all day... completely oblivious to how special her nose is, unless it's being used for sniffing out food in our bin. Then it's quite special β€οΈπŸ˜‹
Crafting a New Tack Room, complete with storage dresser, saddle racks and bridle hooks from old barn doors and pallets. Is there anything this man cannot build from an old pallet...?!β€οΈπŸŒ²πŸ”¨πŸ“ It's great to see him happy butchering some wood again 😁
Fun day hanging out on the farm with friends and getting jobs done in the sunshine. Building pantry tables out of old barn find doors and breathing a bit of life into an old larder cupboard with a tin of grey paint. Wine and cheese for later as the sun goes down. Feeling incredibly french all of a sudden πŸ˜‚β€οΈπŸ‡«πŸ‡· #workaway #airbnb
Perfect antidote for any child with an incurable ice cream obsession...πŸ˜‚πŸ¦„β€οΈπŸ€”πŸ’« certainly made our two stop and think at this little Normandy creperie !!
Falais Castle, Normandy... Birthplace of William the Conqueror. πŸ°βš”οΈπŸ‘‘πŸŽ A beautiful day out with our new friend and personal tour guide Carl....Chasing knights around the walled city, hunting plants, making magic wands, finding AN ACTUAL unicorn, discovering a dragon's egg high in a tree, sneaking quietly away from the sleeping dragons guarding the church... making friends with locals and being granted permission by the legendary fluffy black dragon-cat to pass through the gatehouse.. . . Generally much merriment in connecting with the great mysteries in life...Why don't trees lay eggs? Do dragons have feathers? Is it only people with blue eyes who can see dragon eggs? What part of a unicorn do you have to chop off to make ice-cream? And...(my personal favourite ❀️) is it baby dragons πŸΌπŸ‰ that eat all the teaspoons that go missing from our cutlery drawer?? πŸ₯„πŸ₯„πŸ₯„πŸ‰πŸ˜‹...πŸ€”πŸ€”
Casting a quiet spell over the snowdrops to celebrate the warming of the Earth and the lengthening of days. Hopeful for the return of Spring πŸ’«πŸŒˆβ€οΈπŸŒπŸŒ²β˜€οΈ . . The time of Imbolc, feeling full of hope... clear out the old, let go of the past, move towards new ways of being. Clean out and declutter our inner and outer worlds. . . The excitement of each day's hidden potential and the buzzy, tingling, life force stirring. Primed for another year of adventure, learning and growth on the road. With friends new and old all around us... feeling like a day to run around and give everyone big hugs and squeezes! . . I will always be grateful for these precious small moments we get to share with our little ones. The opportunity to re-learn the world through the eyes and stories of children is the most wonderful thing. πŸ¦„πŸ₯€πŸ²πŸŒπŸ’«πŸŒˆπŸ°πŸ˜€
